Product Details
The SMU8-HUB functions as a power and communication hub for up to 8 SMU units connected in parallel. It supplies a +55 V power output and manages communication via the RS485 bus between the monitoring units and the central inverter, Sunny Central.
By integrating the SMU8-HUB into the system, the following benefits are ensured:
- Current monitoring of each photovoltaic string, allowing for rapid detection of faults or performance losses.
- Overvoltage protection to prevent damage to sensitive components.
- Isolation of faulty strings through dedicated fuses, ensuring optimal operation of the remaining system.
