The Santerno Stringbox ES 889/3 CEF is a connection and protection box for photovoltaic strings, used in solar installations. Its main role is to centralize the direct current (DC) coming from multiple strings of photovoltaic panels and direct it to the main inverter safely and securely.
Key functions:
- Protects each string with DC fuses or circuit breakers
- Includes surge protection devices (SPD)
- Provides current and voltage monitoring at the input
- Offers a centralized service/control point between the panels and the inverter
